Working Hard for Wyre Forest

Matthew Nicholls is Labour Spokesperson for Offmore & Comberton

Matthew Nicholls

Matt has lived in Kidderminster all his life and is married with children. He attended local schools and universities. Having worked in local government and education Matt believes he has the right experience to help the people of Offmore and Comberton. Matt has helped to campaign for a radiotherapy unit at Kidderminster Hospital and also supports the “20’s plenty” road safety campaign to reduce speed outside schools. “With children of my own”, says Matt, “I understand concern over road safety especially near schools.”

Matt is also keen to see a return to weekly bin collections - “we must have weekly collections, in order to reduce smells and the chance of rats in the neighbourhood.” Matt is also opposed to the building of a new civic centre: ” We don’t need it,” argues Matt, “the money saved can be used to help local services and I know residents in Offmore and Comberton can see the sense in that.”
